Over Teak has always cared about its employees and is pleased to announce that it has obtained the SA8000: 2014 Certification for its management system for the protection of workers’ rights in the production of footwear, including Uniwork branded safety shoes.
The SA8000® standard touches on the area of Social Responsibility as regards the conditions of workers (human rights, development, enhancement, training and professional growth of people, health and safety of workers, non-discrimination, work of minors and young people) and its requirements extend to the entire chain of suppliers and subcontractors.
